Disneyland Paris vs. Walt Disney Studios Park
Which Disneyland Paris park has better rides? Well, my personal opinion is Walt Disney Studios. If I only had 1 day at Disneyland Paris and I had to pick a one park I would pick the Walt Disney Studios.
Now, with that said, if you only have 1 day, you might want to get a park hopper so you can see both parks. The picture in front of the castle is worth it and that is only in Disneyland.
I am going to focus this post on the best Rides at Walt Disney Studios.
Premier Access
Disneyland Paris has an express pass or skip-the-line option. You can purchase it when booking your ticket or in the app. One option is to skip the line on every major ride one time.
The second option is to pay 5-18 euros to skip an individual line of a ride you really want to go on.
I have been in the summer and the fall, and really didn’t feel like we needed the pass. I imagine on busy days and holidays, these passes are lifesavers!
Best Disneyland Rides at Walt Disney Studios
There are a total of 7 major rides (11 total) at Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris. These rides are really cool. There will be 4 more added in 2026.
Walt Disney Studios is under major expansion, a Frozen-themed land is opening soon with the ride Frozen Ever After. This ride is similar to the one at Epcot and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney Adventure World is set to open soon as well. This will add more rides like a Lion King ride called Pride Land. This is a water ride. It is the first of its kind. No other Disney Park in the world has this ride.
Also in Adventure World, a Rapunzel Tangled spin ride and an Up flying Carousel ride will be added to this area.
Once I get a chance to ride these rides, I will add them to the lineup. I have been on the Frozen ride in Epcot, so I am familiar with that one.
1. Cars Road Trip
Height Requirement: None – Everyone can ride
Ride Time: 5-7 minutes
Location: World of Pixar
One of my favorite rides at Disneyland Paris Walt Disney Studios is the Cars Road Trip. It is really visually appealing and unlike anything in any other Disney Park around the world.
The Line
This is a tram ride so the line can take time as the workers have to load and unload riders. This ride typically doesn’t have extremely long lines. The line is usually shorter in the morning,
The Ride
The ride is a tram ride that takes you along Route 66. There are life-size Cars characters, scenic stops, and themed scenery. It is a smooth ride that gives a relaxed vibe. This is not a thrill ride!
My favorite part is an area called Catastrophe Canyon. This area has water and fire visual effects. It is awesome!
The reason I would vote this number 1 is that it is everything Disney prides itself on. It tells a story with visual effects and is entertaining the entire time. I love that it is a unique ride only at Disneyland Paris.
2. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Height Requirement: 40 Inches
Ride Time: 3 minutes
Location: Production Courtyard
The Line
This is one of the best rides at Walt Disney Studios Park. If you want to ride with low lines, go first thing in the morning. During the afternoon, ride times will increase. We waited 70 minutes! It can get crazy! Most of your waiting is outdoors!
There is a pre-show before you go to the ride. This can be spooky for younger kids.
The Ride
The ride is spooky! It takes you back to an old Hollywood hotel where a group of people entered an elevator and disappeared. We have been on this ride at other Disney parks, but we loved the theming at Disneyland Paris. It is even more spooky when they speak French!
3. Avengers Assemble Flight Force
Height Requirement: 48 inches
Ride Time: 1 minute 30 seconds
Location: Avengers Campus
The Line
The best part of this ride is that there is a single-rider line! We found that the standard ride didn’t have that long of a wait during the morning hours. We were able to ride 3 times without waiting more than 10 minutes.
The Ride
This ride is fairly new. It uses the exact same track as Rock’ N Roller Coaster (starring the Muppets). This is my favorite ride at Hollywood Studios in Florida, but with the Avengers theme, I was not as impressed. I liked it. It is a great roller coaster, but I think it would be better if there were music!
I still rank it high because it is a fantastic indoor coaster and one of the best Disneyland Paris rides.
4. Crushes Coaster
Height Requirement: 42 inches
Ride Time: 2 minutes and 20 seconds
Location: World of Pixar
The Line
This is a very popular ride. It is one of the best thrill rides at Disneyland Paris. The line can get long, and sometimes this ride breaks down, making lines long throughout the day. The good news is that there is a single rider line!
The Ride
Crushes Coaster is themed after the Finding Nemo movie. The ride starts off smoothly, looking at different Finding Nemo scenes. Then it accelerates into a fast roller coaster. It is very fun!
5. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Height Requirement: None
Ride Time: 5 minutes
Location: World of Pixar (Ratatouille Mini-Land)
The Line
This is one of the more popular rides at Walt Disney Studios. Ride times can range from 20 to 30 minutes, but on really busy days, it can be as long as an hour.
The Ride
This a 5-minute experience where you become a rat. You will get the perspective through virtual technology of becoming part of the movie. It is a fun ride.
On my first trip to Disneyland Paris, I was excited to ride (It hadn’t been built at Epcot yet) But I was shocked at the condition, chipped paint, and such…..but good news is it is being renovated and will be fresh and new by 2026.
6. RC Racer
Height Requirement: 47 Inches
Ride Time: 1 minute
Location: World of Pixar (Toy Story Play Area)
The Line
There is nothing special about the line. It is outdoors. This ride is popular and the wait can be about 40-50 minutes on very busy days. 20 people can ride at a time.
The Ride
This ride is really fun! It is a model of Toy Story. It is one of Andy’s RC Racer toys. You will be able to get inside of the vehicle and accelerate on a halfpipe. You will feel a little G-force racing back and forth on the track.
7. Spiderman Web Adventure
Height Requirement: None
Ride Time: 5 minutes
Location: Avenger Campus
The Line
The line is themed and you will watch a pre-show that will debrief you on the situation at hand. Spiderman recuits you to help get spider-bots under control. The best time to ride is in the evening as the wait is usually less than 20-30 minutes.
The Ride
The ride is mid. It is great for younger kids who love Spider-Man. You will sling your hands, and spider webs will come out onto the screen, and you will catch the bots. It is a great ride if you just want to sit and take a break from walking!
Runners UP
These rides are more geared for younger kids and are not the ones you should be racing to when the park opens.
